LISTEN TO NIGHTRAGE!!!”. Nowadays, I think you are one of the few bands that keep alive the essence and the key parameters to get that characteristic and own sound of Melodic Death Metal. Over the years many bands like In Flames , Soilwork , and Dark Tranquillity (even though they still have an unquestionable quality) are far away from how they sounded with their first albums… How do you see the “health” of the style? Do you think the general public has lost a bit of interest in the style that was so popular in the late 1990s?

Maybe that style of music changed a lot and lost its real essence, and people became uninterested, it’s kind of sad to see that happening, and we as a band never wanted to take that path. I see some bands still trying to keep the flag alive and do what is right for their music, but in reality, I think true melodic death metal, is, or has become a real underground style of music, that still has fans wanting it, and we tried all these years to keep it alive and well. I see it on the live shows that bands are struggling, but who cares, we are here to play what we feel like and we don’t give a fuck about shitty trends, we do not want to be a Eurovision type of band, and be the stars of the day, we are real and we want to play real music. The music that comes out of our hearts.
